TRAIL OF DAMAGE
MELBOURNE CYCL< )NE (Received December 8. noon.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 8. A cyclone struck a section of Essendon suburb, causing heavy damage. Tiles were torn from roofs, fences were razed, windows broken, outhouses wrecked, and the hoods of motor-cars torn off. The path of the cyclone was a mile long and about 50 yards wide.
