U.S. PLANS TWO DIRIGIBLES
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 26. The United States Navy will seek funds immediately to construct two giant dirigibles, larger than the Macon, now based at. Sunnyvale, California, Rear-Admiral Ernest J. King suid yesterday as he stopped at the harbor on route to San Diego. Admiral King, who was on a survey of fleet aviation, said that the dirigibles would replace the Akron and the decommissioned Los Angeles*. Doric Star, is being lengthened by 30ft., and a new type of bow fitted. Another vessel, known in the Australian apple trade, the Trojan Star, is also undergoing extensive alterations.
