MIDNAPORE MAGISTRATE
NEW APPOINTMENT (Received Dec. 7, noon) CALCUTTA, Dec. 6. Mr. H. S. Stevens, of the India Office, lias been appointed magistrate at Midnapore, in succession to Mr. Burge, who was murdered recently.
