HANDICAPS FOR TOMORROW

TWO NEW FEATURES

The Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club’s third weekly track meet under Hood light conditions to be held to-morrow night will include two new features. Splendid entries have been received for a well-varied programme, including a three-mile cycle race and a 1520 yards flat handicap. Six teams have come forward for the men’s relay luce.

Two new features to be put on the programme will be amateur wrestling contests and a basketball club relay race. Both of these features are sure! to attract keen interest, and should help to add to the already attractively-arranged programme. A slight alteration is to be made to the flood-lighting of the ground; an additional flood-light is to be installed in place of the present spotlight on the stand, while one of the (Existing flood-lights is to be moved to a more convenient position.
