Mosley, S.M., to-day on Verges arising out of an incident in Yaldhurst road recently. John Robert McKenzie, an importer, was charged with assaulting George Ross Stevenson, farms inspector to the Lands Department. Stevenson was charged with driving in a negligent manner, and with fading to stop his motor car at the request of the owner of a horse. A dispute bad arisen over the fact that Stevenson’s oar nearly collided with a valuable horse owned by McKenzie. After hearing the evidence the magistrate dismissed all the charges, ordering defendants to shake hands. This they did. _____
