VALUE OP THP/ RUPEE (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 10 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 28. In the House of Commons, Sir Samuel Hoare said there was no alteration in the Government’s policy in regard to the rupee, which was to maintain the link with sterling at the rate that had prevailed since the Currency Act was passed by the Indian Legislature in 1927.
