Consumers of stone fruit in Dunedin are likely to be seriously affected by the disastrous frost which recently attacked Central Otago orchards. A merchant stated that the crop would perhaps bo more than a quarter, but certainly less than half, of the large yield that was expected. A most unusual incident occurred in the senior grade cricket match between Grafton and Y.M.C.A. on the No. 2 ground at Eden Park, Auckland, on Saturday, when the Grafton captain, E. liorspool, claimed the match owing to an incoming batsman taking five minutes to reach the wicket. The umpires were in favor of giving the game to Grafton, but players of the Grafton team stated they did not want to win the match in that manner, and play was allowed to proceed. Dyeing?
