THE LINES OF H.M.S. DIOMEDE, pictured above are typical of the post war developments in the construction of cruisers for the British Navy. The Diomede reached Gisborne yesterday in the course of a tour of the New Zealand coast and will remain in the roadstead until December 4. Comprehensive arrangements have been made for the entertainment of the officers and ratings of the cruiser during the Gisborne visit.
