RECORD BETTERED (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Competing at tho Waitemata Swimming Club’s carnival last night, Miss Sylvia Grange wtfri her heat of the 50yds ladies’ handicap in 28sec. This was an improvement of 2-ssec. on the New Zealand and Australian record held by Miss Ena Stockley, but, as it was registered in a handicap event, it cannot be recognised as a record. , .
