BOWLS ADMINISTRATION CHRISTCHURCH DECISION (Per Press Association.) OIIIvIRTCHITRCH, lasi- night. A decision to exclude women members from pennant matches and from the management committee was armed at by a, meeting of the Christchurch Bowling Centre to-night. Several women’s clubs have been formed m Christchurch in the last two years. They play on men’s greens, but are not permitted to play on Saturday afternoons, and are not allowed to share in the management of the clubs. The centre’s decision was really in anticipation of a possible demand by women t0,,-take a more active part, in the game and its administration. At the centre meeting to-night delegates said that they had no objection to women playing bowls, but they did not want them in the men’s competitions.
