INDIAN FRONTIER HAUL POLICEMAN ARRESTED CALCUTTA, Nov. 21.' A policeman saw a Pathan tribesman attached to the North-west Frontier Province force leading six donkeys heavily laden, and about to cross the bridge over the Indus. A * ‘ He challenged the Pathan, who.replied that he was carrying sugar. A search revealed 10 live bombs, three bags of gunpowder, 1000 cartridges, 17 rifles and four shotguns. Many of the guns were Russian- and were similar to those recently smuggled over the border and. sold at exorbitant prices to terrorist organisations in Bengal and elsewhere. " ' ' The Pathan was arrested.
