MEETING OF COMMITTEE At the weekly meeting of the executive of the Poverty Bay Professional Athletic and Cycling Club, the chair was occupied by Mr. It. .Gritton, and there were also present Messrs. W. Watts, 11. Humphreys, E. Foster, 11. Miller, N. Pilcher, It. Dolman,, W. McDonald, C. Bone, C. Church, C. L. Davy, H. J. Sutton, assistant secretary, and J. Watts, hon. secretary. Mr. It. Morgan was appointed cycling handicapper for the coming track season, and will be handicapping the opening of the season on November 30. New lady members were ejected ns follows: Misses D. Vincent, It. Jeffs, and L. Fraser. Reports were received from the conveners of sub-committees appointed to control the opening sports meeting, and very satisfactory progress was outlined. A further meeting of the executive will be held next week.
