The building occupied by Dearcs, Limited, in Devon street, New Plymouth, has been acquired by the firm and it is intended to proceed immediately with the erection of a new twostorey concrete building, widely will embrace two commodious shops. The building to be demolished is one of tho oldest in Devon street. It was built about 1854-55 by Mr. Peter Imlny.
