SHOT IN BARBER’S CHAIR CHICAGO. Nov. 9. The third gang killing in the series which wiped out Gus Winkler and Edgar bebenshereor, occurred, the vi tim being Harry Wheeler, a former associate of Lebensberger. Wheeler was in a barber’s chair, being shaved, with a manicurist attending to Ids fingernails, when a machine-gun was fired through a back window. Glass and blood sprayed the manicurist and the barber, as their customer died without a struggle.
