EFFORTS ABANDONED
WAR DEBT AGREEMENT TOKEN PAYMENT AGAIN LONDON, Oct. .11. The Daily Express lobbyist says that the hope of an Anglo-American war debts agreement this year has been definitely abandoned. A token payment of something like £2,000,000, will be made on December 1 towards the instalment of £10,000,000 then due. The question of ultimate revision will be kept open. It is believed that the United biates will accept a token payment in'December.
