For travelling on a bitumen road in a van witli a bare wheel rim a country storckce|Jcr was proceeded against by the Main Highways Board at Wai;k\voitli, North Auckland. Defendant was charged with coinuiiUing wilful mischief. Tin- offence occurred following the puncture of a tyre of defendant’s van. The Highways Hoard also asked lor 412 damages. Thg presiding justices dismissed the case with costs 12s against the defendant, provided be paid £2 to the Highways Board.
