GISBORNE DEFENCE CLUB NEW SEASON OPENED ACC! REG ATE TO F. .). JFJJNE The Gisborne Defence Rifle Club opened the new season last week, when excellent conditions favored the marksmen on both Thursday and Saturday, with the result that several good scores were registered. Throe matches were held, over the 7:ooyds.. sCOyds., and 600yds. ranges respectively, with a possible of 40 for each, and an aggregate possible of 120. F. <l. Jeune, with 116. returned the best aggregate score, and the president’s team was successful in the team’s match, which was conducted in conjunction with the three matches.
