A MUSICIAN’S ROMANCE
DISCOVERED BY CHANCE PERTH, Sept. 4. Mis* Eileen Joyce, whpm English musical critics hail eulogistically, and who has furnished practical proof of accomplishments by engagements with Sir Henry tWofl, Albert Coates and Adrian Bonlr*, besides in royalties from gramophone records, was discovered at Boulder City, on the Golden Mile, by a chance passing of a local padre with musicianly accomplishments. Father Moss heard a child playing at her home, and, making inquiry, found her to be the daughter of a local hotelkeeper.' He took the little glrb in hand, and a little later introduced her to Perth musicians. A local Committee managed a concert tour, and sufficient contributions to send Miss Joyce to London, and now comes word of continuation of their belief in her pianiatjc genius.
