IDLE NATIVE LANDS
At a special meeting of the Te Kuiti Native Land Settlement Committee on a simple proposed policy for the immediate settlement of all idle native land suitable for subdivision and close settlement was presented by Mr. G. Elliott. The proposals, which wove Inter adopted hv the meeting, would, it is claimed, if put into • immediate efie-t. completely solve the problem of idle native land. It was resolved to circularise all local bodies with the proposals
