CODES ELIMINATE COMPETITION SYDNEY, Sept. 20. That under the National Recovery Act, there will be no competition among American manufacturers at any rate so far as price and its accessories, are concerned is plain from letters received, in Sydney yesterday from United States manufacturers. In certain circumstances it has been the practice to grant rebates on the purchase price of many goods. This is not permitted under the codes, the letters state, and all manufacturers of a commodity' have to charge the same price, and may' give no special favors to any' one.
