Their Excellencies Lord and Lady Bledisloe, will conclude their visit to Christchurch to-day. »On Saturday, they visited the relief depots and the women’s auxiliary, and also the training centre for unemployed girls. *u . His Excellency said that nowhere in New Zealand was such a wonderful spirit shown in-dealing with the relief of distress. • In the afternoon Their Excellencies attended a reunion of Canterbury 'pilgrims, where Lord Bledisloe paid a tribute to the vision of the pioneers, later going to Lan caster Park to see the Ranfurly Shield match between Canterbury and the King Country. In the evening Lord Bledisloe addressed members of the Toe H movement and conducted the Ceremony of the Light. Yesterday ‘ Their Excellencies attended the jubilee service of St. Barnabas Church, Fendalton, and Lord Bledisloe read the lessons. In the ovening they attended at the Cathedral, where’His Excellency again read the lessons. - • r - -
