This method of subsidy, while/ encouraging civil flying, did not achieve the object, of reducing the price of aeroplanes, while, at the same lime, if. led to abusos. The new decree stipulates that the Ministry will grant a bonus of about £SO to all civilians buying aeroplanes of under 50 h.p. and costing less than £l5O. At present no Firaudi aeroplane is constructed at this' price. But the decree is bound to stimulate the demand and create the supply.
