A Good British Film

“T Lived With You,” which was * shown in London last month, is not only by far the best film the Twickenham studios have made, but one of the best comedies made by any British studio this year.

The whole thing is a triumph for Ivor Novello. The film is based on his popular play, he plays the leading part. —that of a Russian prince who lives with a poor family in Fulham —and his dialogue brings frequent and spontaneous laughter. Mr. Makeham, Miss Ursula Jeans, Miss Raynor, and others work hard, but the whole piece is built around Mr. Novello, and he gives his best, performance of his career.
