NEW YORK EXCHANGE TAX PLANS SCRAPPED NEW YORK, Sept. 2d. Rather than have the Stock Exchange moved to New Jersey, with the loss of financial prestige, as well as real estate values to the city, the Municipal Government to-dav scrapped the stock transfer and 'brokers’ profit taxes. The Exchange announced that plans for moving had been cancelled, anil the Exchange will continue to do business in the Wall Street building.
