NAZIS MADE TO CLIMB PEAK

TO REMOVE DEFACEMENT INNSBRUCK, Aug. 9. Twenty-seven notorious Innsbruck Nazis were obliged yesterday by the police to climb the (5700 ft. high Sattelspritzo Peak. They were then made to remove by laborious scrubbing a huge hooked cross painted on the side of the mountain. They were accompanied on their climb by a detachment of Heim well r (Fascists). The latter superintended their housewifely labors. This action wn.s taken under a recent decree by the security commissar for the Tyrol that leaders of - the former Austrian Nazi party be held responsible for tho defacement of any public places.
