“We are glad to report that conditions throughout the world appear, to have definitely improved' since we reported last year,” states the president of the Napier Chamber ol Commerce, Mr. M. S. Spence, in his annual report. “In last year’s report we stressed the fact that it was of paramount importance to New Zealand that there should be a general rise in the price of primary .products,” he continues. “From recent safer'held in Australia it would appear that there is an upward tendency in the price of wool. Prognostications in regard to the opening price of lamb are encouraging, and, generally speaking, the outlook is much better Ilian it has been for some years.”
