QUOTATIONS WEAKENING BUTTER BACK TO 107/Dairy produce quotations have slipped back slightly this week, mud the market stands at only ,107 s per cwt., according to one report, a reduction of .'is per cwt. from the top quotation received last week. Since then, there has been little advice from brokers’ agents, and the only prior report that foreshadowed a decline came a lew days ago stating that the market was slow at. BINs to 11 IPs. Cheese is now Is per cwt. lower than at the close of last week. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report having received the following advice from London dinted September 2S: —“Butter, finest 107 s, first grade 10-Is. Cheese, fids. The markets are very slow.’’ A Dress Association message from Bahiatua last night stated that a shipment of Konini butter was sold at Ills per cwt., hut, although the message does not state it. It is presumed that, this sale took place at tho peak of tho recent rise about tho middle of last week.
