BELGIAN’S INVENTION SUCCESSFUL TESTS (Elfic,. Tel. Copyright-—United Press Assn.) (Received Sept. 27, 2 p.m.) LONDON, Sept, 26. Major van Rolleghem, a well-known and highly decorated Belgian aviator, is corning to England to demonstrate a fireproof aeroplane. The Major states: “1 get into a model cockpit, close mysell in, light- the petrol supply until the heat is 1200 degrees, and sit in this furnace, unroasted, for 20 or 50 minutes, until the fire is out. When I open the cockpit it will be undamaged. and 1 am not even warm. Experts who have seen successful demonstrations at Brussels believe that Major Rolleghem’s invention may remove the danger of fire in the air.
