It is understood that there is at present- more than sufficient work available for men on the unemployed register in Greytown. With prices for Dominion dairy produce still advancing, and the prospect of a further butter shortage on the English market, there is practically no activity locally in forward sales. Offers have been received, it is reported, of 11 2 d. but no sales have been made, and producers are holding back in expectation of better prices in the near future.—Taranaki Herald. t
