DAMAGED SPEEDBOAT LONDON, Sept. 25. Prior to the lire which damaged Miss Britain UT, Mr. Scott-Paine attained a speed of 95.08 miles an hour, beating Miss Betty Carstairs’ sea mile record of 86.21 miles, and Sir Henry Sograve’s unofficial record for single-engined boat of 92.78 miles at Venice.
