LONDON WOOL SALKS . (Received Sept. 2G i 11 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 25. ' At'tire wool sales, 10,27 S bales were offered, including 7211) from New Zealand, and approximately 1)360 bales were sold. There was active home ana Continental competition at full lute rates. Sales included: Merinos, greasy, New South Wales, ISd; Victorian, 16-bl; Western Australian, l.'ild; scoured, Queensland, 25b1; New Zealand, Glenthorne, top 2Sd, average New Zealand greasy crossbred, 12td, Bsd. At Bradford, merinos are very quiet, and any change in prices favors buyers Crossbreds are steady. SYDNEY RATES EASIER SYDNEY, Sept. 25. At the, wool sales 12,773 bales were offered and 11,331 sold, also 309 privately. Prices were 5 per cent, below closing rates last week, tor all descriptions. Burry and faulty wools were irregular. Greasy merino made to 22j)il for live bales from Morce. The average price per bale last, week was EUi ils 9d or 14.1(1 per lb.
