THE IRAQ MASSACRE

INQUIRY BY LEAGUE PROBABLY NEXT WEEK (British Official Wireless.) Received 10 a.m. RUGBY, Sept. 26. The Iraq delegation to the League of Nations hopes to arrive at Geneva early next week in order to be present when the Assyrian question comes up for consideration. Owing to the recent death of King Feisal, it is impossible for the delegation to reach Geneva at an earlier date in the proceedings, aril the League Council, after considering a request from the Iraq Government, agreed to a short postponement. It is expected that the question will come up for consideration about October 2.
