RUN OVER BY LORRY
RELIEF WORKER KILLED (Per Press Association.) WHAKATANE, this day. A relief worker, E. Jarrett, was killed this morning in the Poroporo gravel pit. When running beside a loaded lorry he slipped and fell, a lorry wheel passing over and crushing his head, death being instantaneous. The deceased leaves a wife and 10 children.
