FACTORY FOR DUNEDIN As a result of successful negotiations between two well-known firms of jam makers and fruit preserves, a large fruit .canning. an,d pulping factory is to be established in Dunedin for the purpose of handling 200 to 300 tons of Central Otago apricots every year.- Tenders were let on Thursday for the erection of modem factory premises in Dunedin, which will provide seasonal employment for at least 200 girls and a small number of men. The firms which are undertaking the new enterprise are Messrs. Kirkpatrick and Company, of Nelson, and Messrs. Thompson and Hills, of Auckland, and it is coped to make a start with this season's crop,
