COLDSTREAM BAND
MAY VISIT MELBOURNE
LONDON, Sept. 7.
In the event of the Coldstream Guards’ Band visiting Australia in connection with the Melbourne centenary celebrations, the personnel will probably be tlie full military band of 40 members, as against 29 members who ordinarily fulfil home engagements. No commissioned officer will be necessary, because the Guards’ musical directors hold commissions, tlie present director of the Coldstream Guards’ Band being Lieutenant J. G. Windram, a Licentiate of tlie Royal Academy ot Music.
