IRAQ’S NEW RULER TRIBUTES TO FEISAL (British Official Wireless.) Roc. 2 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 11. The body of King Feisal, which is being conveyed to Haifa from Brindisi by the British cruiser Despatch, is being accompanied by, among others, the late King’s brother Ali, and two Cabinet Ministers, Nuie. Pasha and Rustam Haidar. At Bagdad and throughout Iraq, sorrow at King Feisal’s death was shown by nil classes of the community. The new King, formerly Prince Ghazi, already lias shouldered his fresh responsibilities. He reappointed all tho Cabinet Ministers to the posts held under his father. In expressing thanks to King Ghazi for his trust in the Cabinet, the Premier, Rashid Ali, said he was confident that Iraq would continue to follow a sane policy as in the past, consideration for which was the maintenance of bonds of friendship and alliance with Great Britain. With full military honors, the body of King Feisal was embarked on the Despatch at Brindisi this afternoon. It will lie conveyed from Haifa to Bagdad in a Royal Air Force aeroplane.
