FURTHER REDUCTIONS (Received Sept. IJ, 2- p.m.) SYDNEY. Sept, 11. The lirst-grade petrol price lias been reduced by 2d to Is 5d a gallon, and second-grade by Id to Is 4d. The largest independent company, whose advent coincided with the substantial reductions, is still charging Is 6d. hut the directors will meet to-day to decide what, to take. It is understood that other independent companies will lower prices from Is 4d to Is 3d.
