Referring to the lianfurly Shield challenges, Mr. Dean said he dirl not favor altering the rules to prevent minor unions playing for that trophy. Tt was his opinion that teams playing for the Serldon Shield should get away from the competition for it. and play for the flanfurly Shield, so as to meet the best sides of A unions in the Dominion.
