CYCLING CONTROL
FEDERATION’S FUNCTION AMATEUR COUNCIL’S OPINION (Per Press 4ssociotlon.) WELLINGTON, this day. Tho cycling council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic and Cycling Association, in a statement issued in regard to cycling control, suites that what it objects to are attempts made by certain members of tho New Zealand Cycling Federation to make it function unconstitutionally. The council still recognises the federation, and has requested it to hold a properly-constituted meeting of its members. Tho council declares that it will continue in its efforts in co-operation with each section to place the federation on its proper footing on constitutional lines. It believes that when tho federation conducts its business at the next properly constituted meeting tho issue will be cleared up in a manner satisfactory to the amateur section.
