While in Wellington recently the Whakatane County chairman, Mr. W. Reid, was informed by Sir Apirana Ngata that the natives of Ruatoki would would grass 1500 acres of new pasture this year. This and the other develop'mcnt taking place in the Ruatoki area would result in a considerable increase in the dairy factory returns for the coming 1 season.
