OPPOSITION IN LHASSA
(Received Aug. 10, 11 a.m.) CALCUTTA, Aug. 9.
Mr Hugh Ruttledge, lecturing in Simla, said another Everest expedition in 1935 was probable, if consent could be obtained from the Tibetan authorities, but it was probable that there would be strong Opposition in Lhassa to further attempts.
