WRESTLING

OSWALD DEFEATS CLARK (Per Press Association.) HASTINGS, last night. A professional wrestling bout at Hastings last night between Hank Oswald and Jack Clarke ended suddenly in the fifth round, Oswald securing a fall with a back loop slam and Clark was unable to continue.

The contest provided plenty of action, both "men proving versatile, though the bout lacked anything of a spectacular nature. In the third round Clark gained the first fall with a forward slam.

A good house was satisfied with the bout.
