RETRIAL COMMENCED

MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. A chiropractor, J. R. V. Hart, faced his second trial on a charge of manslaughter in the Supremo Court to-day in connection with the death of a young man, Henry Gordon Aitken, it being alleged that his death resulted from the accused’s failure to apply reasonable care and skill in the treatment of Aitken.

The first jury disagreed. Evidence given at the previous trial is being repeated.
