VOTING PAPERS
VALIDITY QUESTIONS Recently two protests were made to I the Wanganui Education Board regardling the validity of the voting papers used at the householders’ meetings at the Central and Terrace End Schools. Palmerston North. The complaints are to he considered at a special meeting of the Wanganui Education Board on May 17. The voting papers at- the Terrace End election were marked to show the retiring members of the committee, and it is alleged that this distinction prompted many electors to vote for the candidates whose names were marked.
