"Another move to help to make the railways pay,” was the comment of a member at the meeting of the Ejlesrnere County Council, when a letter was received from the Transport Board stating that any lorry two tons weight when loaded, conveying goods for five miles along a main or secondary highway, should be licensed for such work under the new regulations.
