SHORTY GETS HIS CHANGE
LONDON: Feb. 28. The War Office announces that from to-day the minimum physical standards for recruits for the Infantry of the Lino will be: — - Height, Sft. oin. ; weight, 1131 b. instead of 1151 b. as at present. There are some 3000 vacancies in this arm of the Service which can be filled before the end of the present financial year (March 31, 1933). As far as the exigencies of the Service will permit, every facility will be given for men to join the regiment of their choice.
