An unfortunate ‘incident occurred toward the end of the reptesentatire soccer match, Auckland v. welling.ton, in Wellington on Monday, when ,T, McLeod had his right leg fractured through colliding with Gerrard. the Auckland full-back. He had been playing an excellent game, anil was regarded as a certainty for inclusion in the New Zealand team to foiir Australia next month.
