Preparations are well in hand for the Girl Guides’ dance to be held on Friday night in the Patutahi Hall, and which promises to be a most enjoyable function. A free bus will leave Hannah’s corner at 7.30 p.m. for the convenience of patrons from town. Mrs. Menzies’ orchestra will lie in attendance, and musical items and humorous recitations will lie given between dances.
