RANDWICK RACING
FINE WEATHER TO-DAY HIGH PRAISE FOR WINOOKA (Received April 17. noon.) SYDNEY, April IT. There is glorious .weather for today’s Sydney Cup meeting. The Sydney Morning Herald says Winooka’s Doncaster will be one of the most niomorable in racing annals here. He simply toyed with his opponents, some of whom, like Jarlco, Parkwood, Johnnie Jason, and Dermid, were worthy of any-picked field of milers in the Southern Hemisphere. Winooka’s best perforinances hitherto paled into insignificance after Saturday’s achievement. 1 The Telegraph says Wihooka’s Doncaster carries him- past the possibility of further handicap victories, for his record effort will bring with it stupendous weights.
