MOST SUCCESSFUL HELD RECORD ENTRIES i (Herald Correspondent.) Although many good sports mootings have been held in Tolaga Bay the climax was reached on Saturday, when the most successful from both tho financial and interesting view- : points was held. Many were the Compliments paid to tho secretary and committee by competitors and visiting officials on tho excellent arrangements which had been made to eater for the visiting competitors and the general public. In almost all events the entries constituted a-record, and the programme was carried through without a hitch, due to the careful preparations of the committee and secretary. An innovation was created by the attendance ot several members of the St. John Ambulance Corps, who made their first appearance at this meeting, and who'also had several casualties to attend to. In the horse events two men took a toss without serious injury and two cyclists ulso came to grief, .). Watt having a bad spill train which he took some time to recover and finally appeared to be suffering .rom slight concussion. The clips ami specials were won as
